The Securities
Commission is a regulator of the stock exchange and has established by Law No.
(74) 2004 and it has financial and administrative independence and the purpose
of its establishment is to protect investors with securities in the stock
market and regulate the capital market and develop it to ensure justice,
efficiency, transparency and protect the market from the risks that may be
exposed to it. The Board of Directors is composed of five commissioners,
including the president and his deputy, full-time and the remaining members
part-time with experience and competence. The board has many tasks to achieve the
objectives, including preparing bills and regulations, issuing instructions and
approving internal regulations and regulations The stock market, the depository
center, the licensing of markets and brokerage companies, and the approval of
the listing of securities in the market.
